I'm 44 and I have sold a bunch of cars over the years and I miss them-some more than others-but you can't keep them all. When I graduated high school I had a '64 Impala SS with a 307 4-sp. Built a 327 that summer. The next summer I bought a '69 Camaro body and put the motor and trans into it. Sold the Impala body for peanuts, and still regret it, but what can you do? If you have a place to park it for 5+ years then do that. If you don't, then let it go and buy something reliable. You should be able to get a '95-99 pickup for under $3000 and have something relatively reliable and still be in the same vehicle type. My .02
