I have a 67 C-10 with a 292 and a 5 speed trans. Due to a leg problem, I'm thinking of converting it to an automatic transmission. I like the 5 speed but it isn't easy for me to drive.
I want to keep it simple. I'm not a speed nut anymore. Just like to get to gettin' when I want to.
I need suggestions on what trans to convert to and what would be the best hook up for my 292 with single throat carb. Any pro's and con's would also be appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
