finishing up behind the seat box
Here is a few pics of the box that we will be installing behind the seat to house a couple of 6x9's, a 10" lp sub and an amp. We designed it to have a smooth line from the lip below the window to the floor and also follow the contour of the curve in the area previously occupied by the gas tank. The side pic show the wire chase. Power will be supplied through the floor up to the amp. Signal wires will just run down the middle under the seat to the tuner in the dash. We plan to cover it with the same material being used on the door panels (marine naugahyde in matte black). I will post up some completed pics once we have it installed.

Re: finishing up behind the seat box
Pyle 1600w amp, 2 Sony 6X9 speakers, 10" Alpine type E sub, 2 5" up front in the stock location under the dash with a Kenwood reciever (usb aux with blue tooth). Sounds good. Putting the seat in tomorrow for the final tune. I will cover it next month with a marine naugahyde (matte black).

Re: finishing up behind the seat box
That looks real nice! I need to build mine, but I have so many other projects that need attention...

Re: finishing up behind the seat box
@ blazer2007, We drilled holes at the points where the cab mounting bolts come up through the floor. I just installed longer bolts and used large diameter washers.
