Clean 56 on Yakima Wa craigslist

This showed up on the local Craigslist yesterday and is a pretty nice truck at what looks like an interesting price.

I only know what we see in the add and don't remember seeing the truck.

I can't believe how inexspensive the asking price is. I figured any restored trucj or ones that have excellent paint start in the $20K range.

I don't know anything about the truck but the six rather than a V8 probably has something to do with that.

Re: Clean 56 on Yakima Wa craigslist

Looks about right for the asking price. I've seen the same ones on CL now for the past year, restored short fleetsides around $12Gs!!! And they are NICE trucks, but nobody has the $ to buy them so they just sit on CL forever. Most people are just poor right now, and I've seen the restored prices decline the past year, but rust bucket prices increase..go figure lol

Re: Clean 56 on Yakima Wa craigslist

Around here I think that the high priced rust buckets are primarily advertised by the get rich quick boys who buy them cheap and then try to get several times what they bought them for out of them or by guys who have watched too many episodes of Pickers or those other reality shows that are screwing up prices of old rigs. I figure most of the crusty rusty's are worth scrap price + what ever makes them interesting.

That is indeed a nice price if it's as clean and operable as advertised. Good find.
