I used 1/2 ton drop coils to lower mine.

Hello and welcome. I'm liking what I see so far. Great start!
Just in case you were not aware, It's OK to leave your truck at stock height. ...no really, it is. |

With the tortion bars, you can loosen them up and bring the front down.. Thats what I did.. You just have to watch out for the adjustment bolts hitting speed bumps or what ever else is low to the ground.

I can totally appreciate the stock look , but I'm more of a southern cali cruiser type . How far can I lower with a tortion lower ?? and also wondering if anyone has tried a power booster for the drum brakes??

Some came factory with power drum brakes...might be able to find one in a wrecking yard. My 63 chevy truck and 60 GMC both have it....even tho the 63 is gonna get hydroboost power brakes as part of the 4x4 conversion.

Re: Introduction !! 1960 Apache 20
Welcome to the forum
A '60 with a factory V8 and an auto trans is somewhat rare. The motor mounts and trans crossmember alone are worth what you paid for the whole truck. If it is original the engine will be a 283.
