4x4 Blazer going 1/2 ton 2 wheel dr.???
I just bought a 4x4 blazer and I want to remove all the 4x4 stuff off from it and replace it with 1/2 ton truck front carrier and leafspring rearend. we this stuff interchange I havent had a 4x4 blazer before and I've all ways wanted a 2wheel dr. blazer and with this one having real good sheetmetal on it I thought this would be time to do this project. Any imput would be of help!

Why replace the rear- it's already got a leaf sping rear ? I thought the 2wd Blazers came with coil sprung rear.
Or do you just want to swap to a 5 bolt hub ? |

You need a 2wd front crossmember and all the items that work with it and bolt to it. If running a auto get a 2wd auto trans crossmember. The rearend is find just need to get a flip kit and maybe a taller shakle to lower it more. You'll have to drop in a shims to straighten out that re-end. Youll be able to make the cost with the parts you sell IMO. Should not be hard to convert it over. I haven't found out or read anything about haven the choice of slapping in a O.E. trailing arm suspension. I hear that 4x4 have a straight rear frame and 2wd have a curve in them. good luck and keep us posted. Time to join the blazer part of the board.
