Need a seat recommendation for a 54 3100

I am looking for a seat for my 54 project. I would like a bench that has a fold down center armrest. Something that would be a good starting point to have custom upholstery applied to. I am hoping someone out there knows of something that would fit well in the truck that would make a good starting point to work off of. I will be deleted the behind the seat gas tank as well.

Something like this seat but i have no idea what it came out of, i do know this particular seat had sculpting done to it before being covered. however it has a center fold down like i am after.

Re: Need a seat recommendation for a 54 3100

I believe Glide engineering made the one in the photo. The trucks are fairly narrow, and it will be difficult to find a factory seat, with an armrest of that type, that will center the driver on the steering wheel.

I used rear bucket seats from a Honda Pilot mini van. They have flip up armrests on both sides of the seat, and have a console. This will all fit, but will not center the driver if you install the console. You could easily make your own smaller console.

Seat height is perfect for me (6 foot tall) but you could install them a few inches higher if you want. I used the factory sliders and just used two angle brackets designed into a quick release to attach them to the floor. (I removed the stock seat base completely)

I used 2000 cadillac deville seats, have built in seat belts for all 3 and 8 way power with only power ground no seat module. Then i am using a cente jump seat from a f 150. The early 2000's gm trucks also work
