1996 S10 Blazer wiring
hey guys, I am putting a 1947 truck body on a 1996 4x4 S10 Blazer chassis and I have run into wiring questions. I have a Chiltons book but it is absolutely worthless! I have a huge (10’ long) wiring harness that runs across the dash and back again and it seams to exit and reconnect to itself on the passenger side of the vehicle. I can’t believe this all went to the A/C unit, but that is my best guess. It plugs into the ‘Black’ labeled plug in the computer (the pigtail is labeled 3711). Does anyone have better wiring diagrams or at least tell me what this went to?
Thanks, Mike |

Looks like the dash instrument connection. I've taken mine out and it looks similiar.
I have a 96 factory manual for my Jimmy. I can check it. If you need complete wiring diagrams, I can probably point you to someone who can send you what you need. |

Re: 1996 S10 Blazer wiring
thanks, I know where most everything goes. This one harness has me stumped though. It used to pass through the passenger side and then connect to the harness under the dash. It can't be for gauges, I have that one on the drivers side. If it is just for A/C. why would it go to the computer? I don't know.
thanks, mike |
