Cab question
I have a cab question. Attached is a picture of a cab I barrowed from this site. My question pertains to the weather strip channel that I have circled in the pic. What year cabs had this type of weather stripping that slides into this channel? I need to order some and I'm not sure what year my cab is.

I've got a 49 and 53 truck here and a 51 suburban and can't see a difference between any of the channels in that location. Maybe of course someone switched cabs on mine way back...

On my 52 3/4 ton, I don't have those channels. I figure I'll run the other weather stip that goes around the door and see if I need to buy some of the weather strip that screws/glues in rather than slides around the channel.

47 and 48 trucks had/have a metal strip that screws down over windlace with a fabric cover around the doors. 49 and up should have the style that uses the molded windlace and have the channel around the doors as in the photo.

Somebody here on the site had a easy way of placing that rebber but I can not find it.
I have replaced three of them and I did it the hard way, one inch at a time!!
