I haven't heard anything bad about skyjacker but most say they are pricey.

Had a Skyjacker 6 inch in my 79. Had no problems with it. Like the way the front springs looked. Real beefy looking.

I'm very happy with my Skyjacker Softride 2 1/2" front springs. Excellent quality, tapered leaves, poly bushings, no squeaks, and a decent ride. I put 'em on several years ago and they are still virtually like new.

Re: opionions on skyjacker lift.

I am glad to see the responses in this thread. I too am considering a 2.5" skyjacker soft-ride lift.

I am running some 33 x 12.5 15 cheap azz tires (pep-boys brand) that rub on the front in reverse and wanted to put some 32 x 11.5 x 15 BFG AT on that wouldn't rub but found out that those tires have been on a national backorder since April.

I really didn't want to go down in size which would increase rpm at 55mph so am now considering the 2.5" lift and keeping the 33's. Well the lift and wait a year and get some 16" wheels and some metric tires with a decent sidewall (load range d or e)

as it sits now

Re: opionions on skyjacker lift.

Yea I have had a few skyjacker lifts one on a blazer and one on a pickup. Really liked the way they rode and the price wasn't super spendy. If I lift any more trucks will defiantly check them out first!
