Q: Is there a way to see...
who lives where? I know one of the members here is in Des Moines. Just looking for folks closer my way. Since I'm working solo up here, like others, it'd be nice to be able to help each other at times.
I'm sure the longer I'm on this forum, the more I'll get to know others. TIA

Re: Q: Is there a way to see...
I'd think this day in age a lot of guys don't really want to put where they live out on forums that people with less then honest intentions might lurk on.
If someone really needs to know where someone else lives that can be handled by private message. I live where the nutcase dog that doesn't like strangers lives by the way. |

I agree with mr48chev that many try to keep their privacy, but by the same token maybe the Admin could create a map that allowed those who don't mind wishing their location to be pinpointed or even a directory like Stovebolt has on their http://www.stovebolt.com/world.shtml page.

Re: Q: Is there a way to see...
I thought about the privacy thing after I sent the message. I was more looking for who might be in the area rather than actual addresses, though that's not hard to find with Yahooging.
I did not know about the regions thing. I'll have to check that out.
