Got the Coys on!

My wheels came monday, finally got a decent day off and after a little bit of grinding on the lower A arm, they went on. A whole lot different look than the old rallies!

Re: Got the Coys on!

Hey -- I'm trying to get a big group together to do the Hot Rod Power Tour in June, 2013. They are coming through Chattanooga. Everybody is meeting at Coker Tire.

You're welcome to join, some of my friends from Nashville are coming down we could all meet there and park together .. than maybe do the Chatt / Charlotte leg? You're not far from Chatt.

Yeah, i went with the 15's, didnt feel like having to buy tires again, mine were almost brand new . But for 100 a wheel + shipping, you cant beat coys man. Good customer service, got em quick. I would definatley deal with them again.

Did you have your truck at the cruise-in? I was there and just wondering if I saw it or talked to you any.

I was there briefly, i had to work that day of course (gotta love autozone). But i was parked on a back street close to another orange 69. I only stayed about an hour, had somewhat died down when i got there.

Theres a section for the C5 14&15 inch. It's not under the regular C5. I agree completley, i like the bigger tires more than the big wheel look

What size 15" skins are you running? Are you running a small drop?

They're 15x8.5 all the way around, i originally wanted 8's but they only had 8.5's in stock, but im glad i went with the 8.5. The tires are 275/60/15 in the back, 255/60/15 in the front. The back spacing is 4 in, which with the disc brake conversion from a later model, ( mine was 76 front end), its gonna take a lot of grinding and possibly a spacer on the front to make them work. I suppose 3.5 backspace would make it better. With the tubular style A arms, or air ride its no problem.

Surprised you even noticed! Very small, i think its 2 in the front and 3 in the back, eventually its gonna go down lower, wanting to have it sit something like a 4,6 . And thanks for all the kind words guys, really encouraging! Needless to say never in my mind did i think that it would look like this 5 years ago when me and dad unloaded it off the rollback and boxes!
