frame help

looking to buy a frame and just do a swap of motor, trans, beds, cab, and front clip. What year frame is interchangeable for a 68 swb?

67-72 chvy or GMC.Chevy came standard with coil springs buut GMC were leafs.You could option either one either,but bodies and drivelines will swap.

If i'm not mistaken the front radiator support mounts for the 67-68 were in a different location or a different mount all together from the 69-72. You may wanna keep that in mind and adjust as needed.

The V.I.N number is stamped on the frame. One is just above the steering box. The 5th digit is the last number of the year. It would be possible to swap the front supports to get the correct ones for the front clip. I am 99.9999% sure that the front supports are different. Hopefully someone will chime in and back me on this info.
