Sweet!! I wish mine was still those colors instead of Krylon black, from the previous owner.

Oldskool71:
The bed had upper trim holes, but I replaced one bedside. I drilled all of the holes before I painted the truck. It wasn't to hard it requires patience, and the use of the measure twice drill once method. I measured several times, but I still messed up on one hole and had to weld and repair it.

RodC: The bedcover was custom made out of one inch square tubing covered in aluminum. The aluminum was then covered with a marine grade canvas similar to a boat cover. It had gas shocks that raised it and even had a lock. It was a good set-up.

Tim thanks for the compliment. I'm getting ready to start the family 62 next which will hopfully put this to shame. I'm going frame up with the LS1 auto combo, no holds barred on it.

think you would have gotten more business if it looked like this? i think not. this is just to give you an idea of what shaved handles and side markers and lowered more would look like. i like it the way it is

I'm really surprised at the response to my truck I wasn't real sure how the Green would go over.

dinnut: I skipped the tailgate band because I plan on painting the Chevrolet letters green, or pinstripe them in green to be a little different. I like the slammed look, but I know eventually I will sell it and I wanted to keep it as open to all potential buyers. I was planning on shaving the door handles, but after watching my buddy have problems with poppers on his 51 Ford custom I thought again.

Blue Beard: It took me just over six months. I would have had it done sooner, but just like everyone else money is a key issue. Time is on my side since I own the shop if I finished my normal work early I would go out and work on my truck and if one of my employees didn't have anything to do they to would work on it.
