Did you new motor bolt right up to the old motor mounts? Or did you to move some stuff? I'm looking for a new motor and have my eye on the 383 GM Stroker motor. Any insight on the install would help me.

Unless you have a inline 6, just use the motor mounts off your current engine. But I would replace them with new one's that way you have sound of mind that they aren't going to fail anytime soon. If you have a inline 6, you will have to change out the engine stands to V-8 engine stands, and move them up one corresponding bolt hole. Then all you have to do is get motor mounts that fit the V-8.
