I would like to know what a 1970 K-10 swb would be worth. It for sale on a road in the middle of no where maby five guys drive past it during hunting season. Its a driver and has the normal cab corners/rockers rust. otherwise its a ok. its a cool truck. he is asking three for it but might go down. sight unseen what do you think. i have a 69 swb truck i am restoring right now and i daily a short bed cummins thats 4x2 and getting to work is down right dangerous for me in the winter. So i would daily it then this summer stick a ls in it....shhh dont tell the gf she is already tired of the amount of money i have sunk into my project now...and what she doesnt know is the 68 ss camaro i got is going to be super expensive...anyway back on topic what do you think, semi rare right? worth it?

Give him 4 and tell him he is an idiot! Idk about up there but down here in tx those trucks aren't rare, they are extinct

In '69, SWB trucks were out-numbered by LWB trucks like 55K of the SWB vs. 270K of the LWB. I don't have my Red Book in front of me, so I'm not looking at the facts, but logic says that 4WD is rarer than 2WD, but I don't know the percentage. Still, you are the eyes that can see it and you're the only one who can say if it is, or is not, worth the asking price.

Pictures are always a good thing.....

All depends on condition and originality. how do you know its not a body on a newer chassis or someone just converted it? Post some pics including chassis if you really want to know. Could be a good deal if done right or original 4x4. The ratio of 4x4 to 2x4 was about 1:8 or something like that.

i will take some pics next time i go to move cows up there. its 40 miles from my house byt 2-3 hour drive. it is an orginal though i am pretty sure.
