It is actually about a $70 job around here (going rate for an hour of shop time), but that isn't the point.

I was thinking the same thing plus $25 for the seal and gasket.

Sure, if you are lucky to have a mechanic that has these laying around from a kit that he used only one gasket out of, and he was being generous enough for you to pay him enough to buy his next cup of coffee.

Most of the time one has to pay for the gasket kit, and for a 205 it is roughly 40 bucks. Then there are some shops that tack on a few bucks on top of that.
