Re: tailgate emblem

Any chance I could see good close-up pics of where the wood grain ends on each side of the band? Also, are the letters metal or plastic? Thanks, Pete

i stuck a magnet on one of the letters and it did grab it but i notice its metal in the rear where its held on . they may be plastic with steel rivets molded into them . i cant be sure unless i take them off.

Re: tailgate emblem

Don't take them off...they are metal. Your magnet is not strong enough to where you would feel it pull on small embedded rivets, let alone have it stick. The band itself is aluminum and non-ferrous so you would not feel any attraction at all from it.
