Iginition Lock on 67 Suburban
I just acquired a 1967 GMC Suburban that did not come with keys. I have not been able to remove the ignition lock, very frustrating. I have been able to loosen the ring that holds the ignition lock in the dash but after a few turns, it just spins around. Can anybody give me the trick to remove the lock without the key?

Re: Iginition Lock on 67 Suburban
Cut it out with a grinder or sawzall. I dont know of a way to get it out without the key. IF you did have the key you put a paperclip in the tiny hole in the face near where you put the key and turn it back until the lock cylinder comes out.
Others might chime in on a way they have found without the key.
