Re: Tough time finding 2.5" affordable exhaust kit k10

I think I'm done with the research and I'll probably pull the trigger tomorrow. So the do it myself route with the Walker pipes at Advance Auto is $241.81 - 20% = $193.45 delivered and hangers, clamps, gaskets. I found the Walker diagram and parts list for the 3/4 ton K10, 2.5" exhaust, in the Advance system. Have them search for #6617 for 3/4 ton. The 2.5" pipes all start with the number 4 in the diagram. You can also find the diagram on the Walker site. I hope having that number helps someone since it took me at least a week of serious internet looking to find it.

I went through all the other mfg's and really didn't find anything with 2.5" except for a Flowmaster #17107 for $312.99 and Flowmaster #15936 without hardware for $321

Parts list to order
517300 3" clamps 6 ea $3.99
31400 Manifold Donut Gasket 2 ea $2.99
518513 hangers, 6 ea $3.99
47523 Front RH $25.59
44607 Front LH $28.00
45645 131" Intermediate, $27.19
44608 RH rear $25.59
44606 LH rear $28.00
Prices are with 20%
Advance total at list $241.81 - 20% = $193.45

I've already purchased Dynomax Super Turbo, 20", from Streetsideauto.com for $63.76 ea or $107.62 delivered
I'll probably add an H-pipe for $55, Summit #642025 or an X-pipe for $100, Summit #642125. Those prices are deliverd.

I'll have $300 low end, no H or X pipe, and $400 high end, X pipe. I am looking at about $700 to $800 at a muff shop and they insist I need cats or they won't touch it.

I think I have this nailed down. (Until somebody comes up with another idea!)

Target install date is 2 weekends from now. If it looks decent I'll post pics.

Thanks
