Electric Fuel Pump
I am just getting my motor ready to fire. I am running a 350 bored, cam, headers, intake etc. I am wondering what ratings I should get for an electric fuel pump? I am running a Holley street avenger 650. I am set to run 14 psi but not sure what flow rate I need?
What would you run?

I don't claim to be an expert, but that sounds like too much pressure to me. You might want to double check your numbers before deciding on a pump. I would normally think around 7 PSI.

i'd run a good old reliable mechanical fuel pump as that setup there is no need or advantage in running an electric prone to problem and failure fuel pump

I agree with cdowns, above. That's way too much fuel pressure for a street Holley. Most Holleys will live well with 5-7 psi. A good mechanical pump will serve well for that. Plus, in my experience, most electric pump are just flat-out NOISY. But, It's your truck and the choice is up to you.

5-7 psi is what you should be running. I suggest just using a mechanical pump, unless your engine is like mine and has no place for a mechanical. Edelbrock and Holley both sell performance electric fuel pumps, costly but good quality. I personally just purchased a off the shelf one at AutoZone, and haven't had any issue with it so far. Runs 5-7psi, fuel filter that mounts to it, and is internally regulates the pressure.

5-7 psi. If you really have to run an electric, look at Carter pumps. They have some self regulating ones which will work very well for you. I had one on my Camaro for about 20 years! Not one single problem with it!!! ALWAYS run fuel filters before, and after electrics. A filter before keeps any trash from your tank from being circulated through the pump, and ruining it.
