My search function does'nt apear to work. I know this has been covered but please indulge me.
I have a 68 C20 that I want to convert to 4 3/4 bolt pattern and lower.
What is a good doner axle to use? Welding is no problem. I plan to use dropped spindles (the kind made for 3/4 to 1/2 ton conversions) which rotors will give me the chevy car bolt pattern I'm after?

C'mon help the new guy out. I've gone back as far as I can and I cant find the thread about getting 4 3/4 pattern rotors. I think it was chevy van stuff but I would like to be sure. Does anyone know the stock rear track width for half tons?

Try the search again, it has been working, and I jus tried it and it is working still.
Why do you want a car bolt pattern? The truck (and van) 5 lug is a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern. Witht eh selection on the market today, i see no reason to make the job harder with car wheels.
As an added note, if your area has a safety inspection in addition to your emissions check, you may want to ask about making a 3/4 ton truck into a 1/2 ton truck. Better to find out now then after you've dropped the cash into it.

I do have a set of wheels I would like to run and I figured if I have to buy axles and rotors and such I might as well save some money on the wheels.
No vehicle inspection in Arizona, they do have emission testing in some counties but not mine...yet.
