Good morning, I am working on a 66 c10 truck. I am installing a 5.3 vortec engine with the 4L60E tranny, I am also planning on installing Dakota Digital gages, so my question is, if I am doing all this, does it matter if I use a 60-66 wiring harness or I can use the 67-72 wiring harness, since I am not keeping any of the original wiring.
Thanks |

Re: 66 truck wiring
doesnt matter one bit. actually with the swap you only have a constant hot and an ignition hot you have to hook up ( other than the grounds) and you can do that through the fuse block from the motor and\or the truck depending on the engine/trans harness your using..
