What do I have (suspension)
The truck used to be a 2wd, the last owner converted it a while back
My end result is I want another 4" in height and a softer ride, its a 3/4 ton right now and I dont do any towing Here is a couple pictures, It looks like 4" blocks in the back, and the front springs look almost flat across, i believe the front suspension was taken from a suburban? I was looking into a tuff country 4" lift, I just dont know if the rear springs would be the right height if I just went to the 4x4 springs with 4" lift , same question with the front. not to mention replacing the 2piece driveshaft |

Re: What do I have (suspension)
It looks like the truck has 4" on it now. The front springs are soft rides, or they wouldn't be arched like that. If you want more lift, gotta go with 6 or 8". If you go with 6", you can use your stock steering setup, go bigger really should go with crossover...

Re: What do I have (suspension)
I just thought with front springs like that , it would be 0" and the back was compensated from being a low 2wd truck? idk , its definitely shorter than other trucks ive seen with 4" lifts or it seems that way. thanks

Re: What do I have (suspension)
Those don't look like 4" front springs to me... Maybe 2"? That would make more sense with a 4" block leveling out your 2wd rear.

Re: What do I have (suspension)
Looks like a 2 1/2" lift to me. You can see the part # on one of the leafs around the spring eye. Google that #. Looks like Rancho but they kind of all look the same. Driveshafts should be fine with a 4", but chances are would need lengthening with a 6".
