Rocking with the t5

This t5 that I got from a 86 s10 is holding up great behind my inline six even with the mods I have done intake,four barrel and headers all the stuff I heard and read about the t5 were wrong its shifts smooth put a short thow in The overdrive is great for highway and on city streets sometimes I hammer the throttle great trans

I use to beat the hell out of them in fox body mustangs and never had any issues. The short throw was a good idea as the stock shifters are known for bending forks from overshifting.

How is first gear with the inline 6?
The s10 T5 has a 3.09? (Something like that) first gear which is kinda low with a V8.
