FNG from KS w/67 C10
Howdy everyone, I've been touring the site the past several days and gotta say "wow!" There is a ton of info on this site!
I just worked out a trade (several days ago) for my compound bow for a 67 C10 lwb. No motor, orig 3spd, roller in decent shape. She has a couple of minor rust issues around the rocker and in the cab/inner rocker(?), dent on the drivers side long bed, and the wood is in dire need of replacement but otherwise fairly decent project truck. Although I'm not a fan of lwb trucks. My current project is a 55 Buick Special so this 67 C10 will be waiting on me. I have a really nice late 70's Olds 307 HO motor and the rebuilt th350 auto trans that goes with it that I plan to throw in the 67 C10, how easy of a swap will that be? Thanks for any input and info guys. Posted via Mobile Device

Cool. If you need parts, there's a good guy north of Topeka that parts a lot of trucks out. His name is teeitup (Randy) on the parts board.
There are a lot of good guys and a lot of info on this site. |

If you search there is a thread about sticking Olds motors in these trucks.
