Got my Foreversharp steering wheel, CPP tilt column and '67 horn button in the mail. Now just have to wait for her to get out of paint prison.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Went to get some plumbing parts for home and a close family friend called and asked to go check on his dad,he had fallen in the floor.he has advanced stages of cancer.
I get there and he is strechted out in the floor.Scared me half to death. He had a big knot on back of head.Long story short he'll be sore for a few days.296lbs. Not trying to hijack thread.Be safe everyone and have a good weekend. Jason |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Tackled the last Unknown area of my cab--- I chipped out all the seam sealer around the roof and drip edge, holding my breath expecting to find rust holes all the way.
To my relief, I found a couple spots of rust scale but no serious rust or rust thru. After carefully cleaning all the sealer out, I wire brushed the area, then taped off the drip edge area and painted it with a rust encapsulator. Later, this area, as well as the rest of the cab will get a coat of epoxy primer, then new sealer.

Sorry to hear about your stepmother were ya'll close? Went to a cruise in and swap meet today.Drove the wifes Camry, not expecting to buy anything, and run across a set of tires for the truck.Just about new tires and wheels for $400.00.Couldn't get them because of the car and no body lived close enough to me. Need my butt kicked for not driving the 72. |

I don't know, though. Aren't you afraid somebody is going to mistake it for a Ford? You might need more Chevy logos on the back lol. ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: What did you do to your truck today!
Haha, don't want anyone thinking I'm a Ford. I smoked my tailights back in the spring and even though they still produce a good amount of light, I figure a little more wouldn't hurt. I bought the lightbar back in August but finally got around to putting it on today. Those bowties on my bumper are reflective too.
