'69 C/20 8-lug wheels

I have a '69 C/20 with Dana 60 rear and 8-lug drums all around. What are my wheel options? I understand the later models may not fit due to the size of the rear hub?

Re: '69 C/20 8-lug wheels

sicklajoie has some sweet, completely stock-looking later model Ford wheels on his (16"). They look the same and there are more 16" tire options (but 16.5" tires are still available - Firestone TransForce, for example). There's a difference between hub-centric and lug-centric between those and GM, BUT, it doesn't really matter - they are safe to install and you retain stock hubcaps. Might want to pm him for some details on what he bought for his great lookin 69 C20. Also note that any GM 8-lug wheels off a C20 or C30 up to 1987 will fit your truck (that would be the primary option - that's what I bought for mine anyway). I'f focus my search on 71 or later wheels, just to ensure you are good to go for any future disk brake swaps (I'm not sure that's even an issue on 8 luggers, but it is on 6 lug wheels). But those are some stock steelie option if you're looking to replace yours or go from 16.5's to 16's. 8-lug vintage slot wheels, if you can find em, look great too - they are my 2nd fave, right after stock steelies.

You can use anything Ford pre-99 and I think anything Dodge and Chevy before 08 or 11 or so.

Re: '69 C/20 8-lug wheels

Here's a link to a thread that should help. 10 pages and 241 posts at last count. I think your Dana may require spacers and longer studs to get late model GM caps to fit. I believe davepl had this problem with Hummer H2 wheels with GM caps on his Dana. Not sure how he resolved it.

Enjoy!

If you go with late model GM center caps, the ones from duallys should fit over the dana 60
