exhaust manifolds.
are you guys putting exhaust gaskets on these LS engines? is this a must..
will they leak if no gasket is used?

I did.....and can't imagine running w/o them. The OEM ones are multi-layer, steel I think.

why would you not?
stock manifolds use gaskets, and even with my modified flanges I was able to use gasket material to provide a seal. Otherwise it'll leak and give you wacky o2 readings.

Just use the stock MLS gaskets. They are cheap and always seal.
