Was headed to Good guys till this happened.
Any ideas on what I can do? I have some buddys checking there parts and I looked on cragslist. In the morning I will see if any junk yards have one. I'm also going to stop into a shop to see if it can be welded but there are chunks missing. None of the parts houses can get me one. I get the feeling I'm SOL.

I would by-pass it. You don't need an L6 exhaust manifold heat choke in Arizona. [If that's what it is]

Well, you don't need it.... you just need something to take its place. It's been a lot of years, but I have a vague memory of a short (2" - 3") section of exhaust pipe, just small enough to fit inside the ramshorn and the downpipe, with an exhaust donut midway on the pipe. Been working fine like that for a very long time.

Have a muffler shop extend your existing pipe.
You can do without it. Your manifold studs may need some spacers on them for the nuts to snug up tight. I think you can still make Goodguys.

Re: Was headed to Good guys till this happened.
I do have some parts on a exhaust system I cut off. I will see what I can do in the morning. This is just my luck with stuff. I'm not a big fan of headers. If I'm going to tow it to a muffler shop I will have them put some different manifolds I have there were going to be installed on my 56 bel air. Thanks for the info guys.
