Just wondering what y'all would pay for this.
1972 gmc Sierra grande long wood bed. Had brand new interior put in a while back, but ha sat with no windshield and a tarp on it for years. Still in good condition just dirty. Missing left door panel. Ran great when parked, but has sat for idk how long. Big block 402 and turbo 400 tranny. Fully optioned minus vacuum gauge, and trailing arm. No front bumper or grill, and no keys. Door latch mechanism has rusted and won't open.

I think you could get $1500 but I can't see how it looks close up. If you got it running you could get a lot more out of it.

I think so if you got it running reliably. You would get a lot of return on your effort if you cleaned it up some too. Nothing to that but your time.

As far as the keys, as long as the door panel is off anyway pull the lock cylinder out and see if there is a code number on it. It would be stamped into the lock case. You may have to wire brush it to see the code. If there is take it to your local locksmith and have him make a key from the code #. It should fit the ignition. If there isn't a code number on the drivers side take the passengers side out and see if there is one on it. LockDoc

Re: Just wondering what y'all would pay for this.
From the looks of the rearview mirror and the door panel strip, I'd say it is a 71 not a 72. That may or may not matter to you.
