For the GRAND total of less $5, drink included is my radiator overflow can.

The bright flash makes my truck look dirty under there.

i just use an empty antifreeze jug. cut a hole in the screw on lid (not even close to water tight), and then make sure the hose runsall the ay down to the bottom of the jug (or atleast close). i've not had any problems with this on 3 different trucks, and it will suck fluids back in as it cools down.

I actually used vice grips to hold on the thread and then turned the nut..

full throttle! thats been my plan for a while i just haven't got to it if i wanted the coolant to cycle back into the rad does it need to be air tight? it seems like if the hose was fully submerged it would still pull the coolant back in

It does not need to be air tight but the hose does need to go allmost all the way to the bottom of what ever container (be it beer, energy drink or any other type of container!!) you are using and be submerged in coolant for it to siphon extra fluid back into the system.

I used my washer container. This will change later when I get my shroud made, probably will change to the cylinder type attached to the aluminum shroud close to the filler. The current setup works just fine.

The tube goes to the bottom of the can. The can needs to be vented but not sealed.

Lots of good ideas. I went to four liquor stores Saturday and apparently Heineken recently discontinued the keg cans. A buddy told me his brother has lots of empties around his shop though. Keep the ideas coming.

There is a brand of vodka out there in a crystal skull bottle. that would be cool to use also.

awesome ideas im diffidently gonna go with the full throttle can though the only problem is that i haven't been able to find one of the big cans did they stop making them or what? i know i don't really need the extra volume but i gotta do something a little different

The newer aluminum beer "bottle" cans with a screw on lid works great for this. It is easy to fab a snap in sheet metal bracket for this. I will take a photo of it sometime in few weeks.
