Brother's one piece window kit delivered Friday
The way they pack this kit is really great. I bet you could throw it off the back of a truck onto the ground and not hurt any part of it. The instructions seem really straight forward. Can't wait to install it.

The kit came from Brothers Truck parts in California.

Their Universal flat window system, which was substituted without my consent for the direct bolt in system I ordered and payed for, did not fit at all. They decided to discontinue their direct bolt in sometime after my order was taken.
To make a long, long, long story short, I have about 25-30 hours involving welding, cutting, altering the door, etc. I had to make a sliding bracket to allow for the window to follow the path of the guides, and the power window track to move. Basically the location of the motor at the bottom of the track prevents it from going far enough to the outside of the door, not allowing the track and the window guides in out truck. I'm talking about 1-1/2" or more of movement necessary. I also feel that these will not hold up. Time will tell, but I will probably be installing the electric life kits from A1 in a year or so.

I got a set for manual windows about two or three years ago and they worked real well. I don't know anything about the current ones they are selling. Good luck.

I want to clarify that my problem was with autoloc, and not brother's. I didn't order them through brothers.

I'm not sure who makes the kit I bought from Brothers. It is a manual kit and after reading the instructions it doesn't seem like it will be too difficult to install. I guess I will find out soon enough.
