Wtb Rochester model b
Hey everyone. I have a 67 with a 250 straight 6. I'm having trouble getting it to run. I've rebuilt the carb and filled it with fuel and the truck started and idled fine. Then died. I've tried everything I can think of. If anybody has one that they'd part with please post pics and price. Needing the Rochester model b. manual choke. Would really be great if its off of a running truck. Thanks, Dustin

Re: Wtb Rochester model b
I got one that is still on my 65 , I am starting a swap to V-8. a friend rebuilt it and the engine runs great except for the valve seals that make it smoke. I drove it a couple of weeks ago, so it still has gas in it. A generic rebuild one costs like 135, it was a handpickd carb out of my stash and have 60 in parts in it. $100 shipped?
i can take a USPS money order or paypal with an additional 3% added. Can pull Thursday and send out Friday morning using a USPS flat rate box. PM me if you want it and I can give my info. Thanks, Steve |

Re: Wtb Rochester model b
ok, I have been collecting parts for many years and when i went thru all my stuff almost 2 years ago I only kept the stuff in great shape, either in condition or how it operated. I will look at my burb. It runs good but I haven't fired it up in a couple of months. I also have several on the shelf that are rebuit. Give me one more day! I need the money but more important I want good homes.............
I check out the pix and now i see............ thanks, Steve |

Re: Wtb Rochester model b
sorry, I just got home. I went thru my 6 cylinder carb collection. Didn't realize how many nice ones I have, but, they are all monojet ones. The only B I have are 2 that are mounted on a dual carb intake and one NOS in the box. Until you said there are different ones I didn't think about there being different.
Didn't mean to waste your time by waiting. The NOS one is for a project restoration I am doing and the dual carbs are set up for that intake and have modified throttle shafts for the linkage. If you can use one of the monojet ones let me know, PM me. Steve |
