Wink 71 Cold air Intake Pic's

I was thinking about how many have true cold air intakes on their rides. I'd like to see them. I want to see some idea's about what u have fabbed up are bought.
I built mine out of a 90 Caddy air box. I sealed the factory opening up and cut a 4" hole in the bottom of it and used a ninty fitting with 2 couplings from Lowes. I drilled a 4" hole in the radiator support where the voltage regulator would have been but since I went to a alternator with it built into it I had the perfect spot for it.
Let's see what you got guy's!

You can see the sheet metal that I used to fill the factory opening.

This shows the flange for the ninty to be installed.

Support hole cut.

This has the coupling through the support to slip the ninty onto it.

This is it mounted.

K&N filter installed.

Top and intake hose installed.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You have to explain what you mean by adapter. The motor is a basic all factory setup with no adapter that I know of.
The intake hose is connected to the throttle body by a radiator clamp and a ninty rubber fitting I bought at O-Reilly's auto parts. if this is what you are refering to. It's a 3" rubber ninty for cold air hookups.

Question Re: 71 Cold air Intake Pic's

You can buy them through just about any parts store.OK where are the rest of the intake setup's? I know I'm not the only one on here with a cold air intake.
