My $200 Investment...
I bought this a year of so ago. I intend to put it on a 4x4 chassis, but I really hate to chop up the cab.

Re: My $200 Investment...
What are your plans for it now? Making it a 4x4 doesn't necessarily mean the cab needs to be 'chopped up'

I might use it on a 4x4 chassis eventually. I just scored a 4x4 cab & frame so I am going to use it first so this one stays intact for now. I initially was going to use it for a pulling truck, but then realized I would get more enjoyment out of it as a daily driver cleaned up. I'm really in the parts gathering phase now, so I expect plans could change based on what I buy over the next month or so. I have several 2wd's to go look at. |

Re: My $200 Investment...
Here is the 4x4 I just got. No engine or trans. Some parts in the back of it. I was glad to get this truck. Interior is 100% gone.

Re: My $200 Investment...
Wow, both of those trucks appear to be pretty solid. Is that the norm for most of the stuff from your area of Montana?

Re: My $200 Investment...
^ I gave $150 for the truck & got a few dollars of scrap with it plus a couple battery's.
I'm on a buying spree for a while for these trucks so i will post more when they get to my lot. Rust is not a huge issue in SE MT. |
