Your idea is valid but possibly not possible with the way the rears are setup. Here is where I think the bending issue takes place. When your hard on the throttle the pinion and axle and leafs "wrap up" meaning the litteraly move up some causing the rear of the spring pad on a flipped axle to force down on the u bracket and bend it if you notice in my pics the rear of the brackets were what bent. I think if the leaf flexed it would force the u bracket out and away from the axle tube as the leaf straightens and it would do so evenly to both sides Posted via Mobile Device

Re: New doors, new parts, touching story.
notice both of your U brackets bent further from the centering hole. Intresting. I think its the droping relocation, forcing the bolts to do stuff also.

Re: New doors, new parts, touching story.
thanks man. i just wanna see how much it walked on those springs. i wanna study these close. not only am i wanting to study these close, we should contact the moderator or some one to make this a warning thread for this product. also teach people how to go about using these if they are pretty confused and cant get there budget money back. you know what they always say. trial and error. work with what you got. hate to say that about these. but there still resourses if corrected. im gonna have mine welded to the perches in the future, intil then theres only gonna be a bone stock 350 chevy in my truck with an open diff
