Proportional Valve Leak

After installing a new master cylinder. I went out driving my truck Friday and when I got back home I noticed some paint bubling up on the inner fenders just below the proportional valve. The valve is leaking out behind the rubber cap from the pin that pushes out when the brakes are applied. I have seen several complaints about this but no one seems to post any solutions.
