Angry God Damn Vandals!!!!

Shawna just came screeching up to my shop pissed off like i've never seen before. Some one between 12:30 and 1:30 this afternoon took a damn screwdriver and dug the Lund hood scoops off the hood of her 95 Z 71 leaves dents, big scratches and huge gouges in the damn hood. I have a feeling it was some of the neighbourhood punks. I feel a little skull bashin coming on. I'm so sick of these little fkers !!!!!!!!!!!

I could really fkin care less if the little bastard took me to court over beating his ass. It would be worth it. Then maybe the little prick will learn to keep his hands off other people ****, especially mine
I'm gonna go look around the neighbours yard after work. I saw one of his little punk buddies hangin around the alley the other nite. Plus I have a great neighbour beside me that works on small motors in his driveway all day long. If anyone will see these guys, he will

HOLY SH!T.

Only thing worse is if they screwed with your 67-72. That would be the final straw with me.

I came out to my wife's car once a few years ago to find a perfect footprint on the trunk of the car where someone with rough soles with rocks in the tread decided to plant their foot on the trunk, and then drag their foot off (probably some jogger who couldn't find a tree to stretch or tie their shoe). Gouges and scrapes right through the clearcoat. I had to go get it fixed, because you could tell what it was from a distance.

At least whoever did that to me didn't try to steal something. They were just stupid.

That pisses me off when some punk takes what you worked so hard to pay for. And they probably did more dollars in damage than what the scoops would have cost in the first place.

It's dented and gouged...it's gonna have to be repainted entirely and the pinstriping redone, so it'll cost about $750-$1000. I may check into a cowl induction hood instead. I don't wanna put the scoops back on.

Sorry to here about the vandals Its a shame when you can't even park your car without worrying about it. I hope you find out who did it, then let-em pay for it.

Those scoops were starting to pop up on every thing now days including a 4cyl base model s-10.

It has to get fixed now so might as well make it better, like I did with my 94 Ranger.

I got hit in the rear quarter ( hit and run) so I took the insurance money added a couple hundred and thought of what I wanted to do and came up with this.

I made the "design" and the idea. I was into car audio competition and the cicle is the orion symbol ( audio company) and then I added the top part to make it look like a musical note. The fiberglass racerback and side steps came later.

So do what I did, improve.

Dang! That's a bummer.

Then there's always the 'ole midnight ride through a plowed field in the trunk of a car!

A dozen busted concrete blocks, about 40ft. of un-coiled barbed wire, and nothin' on but their skivvies! A good a$$ whuppin' every hour, on the hour, then back in the trunk, and go again!
LMAO!!

BTW, the kid who stole my old 4X4 is still tryin' to figure out how his POS car got a nasty 35" Bogger track on the hood!

Hope ya catch'em, Dubie!
