Anyone using the blazer tanks with LT1?
I have an LT1 and T56 to drop in and trying to figure out a cheap solution on my fuel problem.
If not, anyone have any good ideas that you have used to get it out of the cab for a decent price? Thanks James PS Just bought a 72 C10 LWB.

Re: Anyone using the blazer tanks with LT1?
I used a blazer tank and made my own in tank fuel pump for my lsx, it should work fine for an lt1 as long as you use the right pump/regulator for the job. Total cost with tank, pump, lines about $300. It works great!

How did you do your lines? Just the regular fuel line material or out of a truck or Fbody?

Re: Anyone using the blazer tanks with LT1?
I used a 25' coil of 3/8" steel line for the feed and a 25' coil of 5/16" steel line for the return connected with high pressure fuel injection rubber hose at the tank and engine. You can buy a bender at any parts store or harbor freight. Make sure you use submersible hose to connect the fuel pump to the line in the tank. It is very expensive but regular fuel line will turn to jelly fast. Give me a couple of days and I'll do a how to.

Re: Anyone using the blazer tanks with LT1?
I modeled the one I made after the tanks inc one mentioned above. The reason I didn't just buy one of those is that they only fit a 10" tank and the blazer tank is 14", plus those line fittings sit up way too high. I'm sure it could be modified to work with a deeper tank, but I decided if I was going to modify I might as well just make my own. If you're using a tank 10" or less and you have room on top the tanks inc one is probably well worth the money just in time saved.
