1982 diesel tach / vac gauge cluster

all gauges appear to be in working condition. (printed circuit not burnt, needles on gauges move freely) I was able to hook the power and ground on the tach to one of my old trucks and with the key turned on the needle moved to zero. $175 shipped

It's neat but I wouldn't have bought it anyway. If I add a tach it'll be aftermarket. It'll fit your truck great, that's a nice cluster.

I really want one with out the fuel gauge but the 4000 rpm tachs are hard to find.

Yeah, but if you swap a 6.5 turbo on, you'll have a spot for a boost gauge if you can't convert that one somehow.

Sounds interesting...have you seen this done before?

Re: 1982 diesel tach / vac gauge cluster

I haven't, but it shouldn't be too hard. It might require replacing the guts with internals from something like an Autometer boost/vacuum gauge, and you'd have to redo the fascia for boost and vac. It'd cost more than just poking an aftermarket boost/vac gauge in that hole but I think you can do it.
