Exclamation 5.3 into a 66 c10 - engine does not start

I am trying to start a 5.3 engine that I isntalled in a 66 truck. I have not reprogramed the computer but I do have HP Tuners to do that. Well just now I try it and it crank but it does not start, like there is no spark. The fuel pressure is fine , I tested with a gauge. I remove the spark plug wire and put the tip of a screwdriver and crank it and there is no spark from the screw driver. Do you guy have any ideas what could it be. I check the grounds and I think I have them all. I check the pink wires and they have power.

Any ideas.

Thanks

I would immagine that it is because you have not reprogramed the computer yet. I was under the impression that they will not start until the VATS have been dissabled.

Thanks 71chevystep, from what I have read before, the engine is supposed to start for a few seconds and then it dies, but I could be wrong, I guess I need to disactivate the VATS and try it again, and see what happens

When I was working on the harness I had to replace the crank position sensor plug, I bought it at the GM dealer, but the wires the fron the plug were all white, now I am wondering if they have a particular order they need to go

unless all of your coils are also dead, its probably VATS as mentioned...

I check one set of coils in another engine and they do work. I dissable the VATS last night. What else could it be, can the crankshaft position sensor plug be wired incorrectly. Any ideas

Thanks

Power for the other fuses is not working, I have power but it
Just doesn't open the circuit.. Also the starter relay when you
Crank the switch and I use a test light the light turn on green
