Re: Checking this 69 out tomorrow..

If the 66 is solid and running, it could be worth it, and easier to cut down than a 67-72. Seriously on that heater delete. Grab it if you can--very rare piece

Re: Checking this 69 out tomorrow..

The 66 is all there, but the wheels and a cracked manifold, but its quite a large truck.

The 68 fleetside, all I would need is a few patches and time, ( got to check my donor truck for whas there) if needed I can paint it very cheap.
I threw 5 grand as a number, since I would do all the work myself.

Re: Checking this 69 out tomorrow..

Im still searching for a fleetside.
My dad liked the 72, quite much, so he got an early Christmas gift. ( so no flip for me..) it was only $1400.00
Needs body work, more so in the roof..We will work on it during the holidays and maybe if someone really likes it, ill try my best to persuade my dad to let it go..

Re: Checking this 69 out tomorrow..

Worked a bit on the 72, topped fluids, checked it all around, sanded some of the rust oleum off, found a set of wheels 15"x6"

Noticed that the steering box moves left to right, and the brackets seem to be off..
Will start a new thread with the step by step on the 72.
