part numbers

where would i be able to find part numbers? what would be the part number for the 77-80 gmc grille "gmc" insert? things like that?

If you are going to try and search gm parts wherehouses for a NOS grill with the part number it is a lost cause. They are LONG gone. I know myself and several others have already tried this. I will say you might find the part number on your grille if you remove it and look for a cast number on the backside around the GMC emblem. Not trying to discourage you. GMCs are a breed of there own and GMC specific stuff is hard to come by. I hope you do find one. That will mean there is hope for me coming across one!

No idea on the lights. Not a ton of people looking for them so kind of hard to price. I will tell you if you buy a nice used GMC 77-80 you can expect $400 and up unless you get really lucky! I wish I had bought the NOS chrome 79 grille I found for $325 a year or so back!

haha i have a bunch of 77-80 gmc grilles, but every one has a crack in it somewhere. i had 3 perfect ones, 1 chrome, and i got a pretty penny for those lol. im just looking for a good one again for a family member.
