Brake lights stopped working
64' c-10 brake lights and license plate lights working one minute and not the next then presto they are back on again - Where should I start looking to tracking this problem down??

One of the first place that I think of make sure you have a good clean conection for ground..

Check the harness connections at the firewall , rear harness 1st. Sounds like you have power and then loose it. Also check the fuse....had one go bad a while back...would touch and then break circuit when turned left or right.

Sounds like a loose wire or connection. Might be a switch under the brake pedal going bad also. And check that it is grounded well.

I soldered a ground wire to every light housing on my truck, then grounded them all to the frame via a grounding block. All the difference in the world.....lights are all very bright. Kieth
