Questions about lowering a 70 C10
This is my first project truck ever. I went into a local speed shop and asked for lowering springs that would get me 1 front 3 back or 2 front 4 back. When I got there I was happy to see that he ordered me hotchkis since I have read good things about them. When I got home I checked on the parts number and found that there are 4/6 drop. In the LMC catalog it states that 4 or more requires a frame notch and a which relocating kit. I don't see this on the hotchkis site and was wondering if anyone is able to point me in the right direction. Thank you for your time.

4" rear spring will NOT require a frame notch.

Re: Questions about lowering a 70 C10
Thank you for the quick response. The kit that ordered in for me was 4 front and 6 rear. So do you mean that I will need nothing extra up front but a c notch in the rear. May also be worth mentioning that my truck has trailing arm and coil in rear. Thanks again.

Re: Questions about lowering a 70 C10
you wont need to c notch the rear if you drive easy and dont tow or carry a load.....once you change driving habits its a good idear to c notch.
