Does anyone know whose truck this is?

I really like the stance of this truck. I was just wondering what size tires and wheels he or she is running.

If that ain't Jewels' truck, it sure looks a lot like it.

Edit: Sorry, I was close. Here's Jewels' truck: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...threadid=72898

Close, but it has a '68 hood and different wheels.

That was a truck that was for sale at the Texas Motor speedway swapmeet during the good guy's show.
It was right near the entrance when you entered the swap meet area.
Not sure what the tire/wheel size was but i don't think there was a motor in it.
It was also sitting on a hill tilting down to the back.

Maybe someone else knows the answer to you question.

i saw that truck as well. How did they put that hood on there with those fenders and that grill? I like the slope of the 67-8 hood better but that is something different that i have never seen before.

correct me if i'm wrong, but that looks like the hood, fenders, and radiator support may possibly be out of a 69-72 truck and the only thing that is 68 is the center of the grille itself. notice how the headlights are not centered in the openings of the grille and the leading edge of the fenders is all wrong for a 68 pickup. could i be onto something? and also, what's with the weird front bumper. is that a f@#d bumper? sacrilege!

I think you are right on target Tripp. You could probably custom fit a 67-68 grill into 69-72 fenders. I know 67-68 core supports are different. the core support mounts on a 67-68 are thinner than those used on a 69-72. Notice there are no headlight bezels either. The front edges of the fenders were not modified they are stepped down to accept a 69-72 grill. Would love to see a few more pics if anyone has some. Kind of a cool concept.

thanks guys, if the FBI or other law authorities ever needs to identify a 67-72 this would be the place to go.

Interesting thing though, on Jeweles's truck, she had a 69 - 72 fender on it at one time. (when she bought it) The P.O. had filled in the leading edge to make it look right on the 68.
