Re: I might be getting a new truck

Well, she just made it home from an hour and a half drive.

Here's the good and the bad so far.

The Bad news.
Steering has more play than I want. It's driveable but I will address this.
The exhaust is pretty well shot. I have ordered another one. It should be here Friday.
Window motors are tired. They work but they are slow.
There is some rust. I want to learn how to cut the rust out of a vehicle so this will be my test bed...no pun intended.
Window track felt is fairly well worn out.

The good news.
It's in MY garage!
It made it home from a 1.5 hour trip with not issues.
I don't have to worry about door dings or scratches for a while.
The tires are in great shape.
It appears to have a small(ish) lift on it already. I'm very pleased with the height and stance.
This truck can stay as a beater or it can be something badass. I think this is a good platform for a starting point.

All in all, I'm pretty happy so far. We'll see if that continues....lol.

Re: I might be getting a new truck

My Dynomax exhaust came today and I picked up a set of Thrush mufflers. I plan on putting it all on this coming weekend.

Good looking truck, you wouldn't find that truck for the price up here.

Good luck, I'll be watching.
