Hub Caps...

How many diferent types or styles of Hub Cap are there for the 67-72 model years?

I have this one Hub Cap. It is off a 72 GMC 2wd, and as you can see it practically feel apart in my hands (I know it's junk but I will be keepin it anyway). It's the only one I've really laid my hands on.

So post sum pics eh? I'd like to know whats out there.

Thanks,

Brian

those look rough really rough I wish I had some pics of the different caps, but those look like 73-75, unless GMC used them through 72

Check out www.hubcaps.com. Lots of pictures of hubcaps for these trucks. Just bought some for my truck and the price was right with good quality. They have 1M caps from southern Cal.

that one is known as the dogdish i think.comes in painted, or chrome. the other one was a full chrome cover.

hubcaps are hard as hell to find. i have been looking for a set of gm c20 painted dog dish for a while. really all i need is 2 good ones.

i have a set of near perfect chrome dogdish for a c20. but im holding on to them. i think i have a full set of painted for a c10 as well... hummm

I've got some like your rusted ones from chevrolet on my trailer.

Faired much better than yours but I believe they were mid to late 70's

here are the dog-dish hubcaps that came on my truck...i don't believe they are original to it but are the correct original style.
they aren't listed on the gb sticker. i took em off b/c they are pretty much all trashed, except for the one on the left, it's hanging on my bedroom wall.

As long as we're on hubcaps, can someone tell me what year these are from; just picked them up off ebay for $40; description says 67-72 hubcap set. I know they are 67-72, but didn't know the difference through the years.

My '69 brochure shows these chrome hubcaps being optional, but the bowtie is blue. Thanks.....

VTKidder those are 73 and up...some of those are identical to 69-72 with the exception of the bowtie color, some have a slightly different center. Repaint the bowties blue and no one will know the difference
