Skinny MTs aren't so easy to find. Personally, I'd like to see a 35x9.5 or 36x9.5...and not a Swamper.

Yep, MT's are scarce in a tall/skinny size. Firestone used to make a knobby MT tire that was 33x10.5 but that's long gone and only available in a 12.5" wide tire now.

BFG is the only radial MT that I know of still making the 33x10.5's, I run the AT version of this tire.

Getting into the 35-36" skinny tires you mention would more likely be bias ply stuff.

I know Coker tire and possibly Kelsey Hays are reproducing alot of these tires now for the old military vehicles (friend runs a set on his jeep). Might be something to look at if you don't mind bias plys.
